Course Aim
This programme is designed to complement initial onshore safety and emergency response training and assessment for personnel travelling to an offshore oil and gas installation by helicopter (in a warm water tropical environment) when issued with an Emergency Breathing System (EBS).
Intended Learning Outcome
The participants will gain a basic level of understanding and an awareness of safety and emergency response on the offshore installation.
Course Terminal Objectives
Upon completion of this training, the participants will be required to demonstrate their skills and the level of knowledge and understanding of the following key areas.
- Helicopter emergency and escape
- Emergency breathing system
Target Groups
Offshore personnel working in offshore oil & gas installations.
Course Methodology
This course will be presented in English. Course delivery format will be a combination of lecture/practical and team activities
Measurement of learning shall be conducted through written tests (knowledge) and practical exercises (skill).
