Course Aim

This programme is designed to provide participants with knowledge and skill in helicopter safety and escape procedures in the event of helicopter ditching/dry landing.

Intended Learning Outcome

The participants will gain a basic level of understanding and an awareness of safety and emergency response on the offshore installation.

Course Terminal Objectives

Upon completion of this training, the participants will be required to demonstrate their skills and the level of knowledge and understanding of the following key areas.

Offshore personnel working in the cold climate environment.

Course Methodology

This course will be presented in English. Course delivery format will be a combination of lecture/practical and team activities.

Measurement of learning shall be conducted through written tests (knowledge) and practical exercises (skill).
