Course Aim

This course is designed to provide skills & knowledge to the participants in order to be able to operate Forklift safely.

Intended Learning Outcome

The participants will be able to operate the Forklift safely.

Course Terminal Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:

• Know the safe operation of forklift (knowledge)
• Understand the factors contributing to forklift accident. (knowledge)
• Carry out operational checks. (Skill)
• Carry out inspection on forklift truck. (Skill)
• Operate the forklift correctly and safely (Skill)

Target Groups

All personnel involved in forklift operation.

Course Methodology

This course will be presented in English. Course delivery format will be a combination of lecture/practical.

Measurement of learning shall be conducted through results to written tests (knowledge) and through demonstration of performance during practical exercises (Skill).

Pre-Requisite

Valid Medical Certificate.
