Course Aim

This course is designed to provide skills & knowledge to the participants in order to be able to operate crane safely.

Intended Learning Outcome

The participants will be able to operate the crane safely

Course Terminal Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the participants should be able to:

• Know about safe crane operation. (knowledge)
• Understand the different lifting environment to prevent accident. (knowledge)
• Inspect the crane wire rope and other accessories used in lifting operations. (Skill)
• Demonstrate the correct hand signals to API/BS. (Skill)
• Interpret load chart (Skill)

Target Groups

All personnel involved in crane operations.

Course Methodology

This course will be presented in English. Course delivery format will be a combination of lecture/practical and team activities.

Measurement of learning shall be conducted through written tests (knowledge) and practical exercises & demonstration (Skill).

Pre-Requisite

Valid Medical Certificate.
