Course Aim

This programme is designed to meet the initial offshore safety and emergency response training and assessment requirements for personnel new to the offshore oil and gas industry in cold water environment.

Intended Learning Outcome

The participants will gain a basic level of understanding and an awareness of safety and emergency response on the offshore installation.

Course Terminal Objectives

Upon completion of this training, the participants will be required to demonstrate their skills and the level of knowledge and understanding of the following key areas.

• Safety Induction
• Sea Survival
• Fire Fighting and Self Rescue
• Helicopter Safety and Escape with EBS

Target Groups

Offshore personnel working in the cold climate environment.

Course Methodology

This course will be presented in English. Course delivery format will be a combination of lecture/practical and team activities

Measurement of learning shall be conducted through written tests (knowledge) and practical exercises (skill).
